As much as I think about how things could improve here (still safer for women in Bosnia, than here), I am so grateful to not live there in Afghanistan. This almost makes me want to jump in a plane and fly there to be with these women. Even the very basic knowledge that I have would improve the lives for some of these women.

I have also heard of a penpal program set up for womenforwomen.org between women of Afghanistan (and other countries). I think I am going to ask my husband if I can do it.
