Double Jogger Questions

I'm looking into getting a double jogger. Anyone have one they are in love with and would recommend?

Anyone have a Schwinn model? (I'm really leaning that way and would like some feedback.)

What about the joggers with the front wheel that pivots? Any luck or horror stories with that?

The Schwinn one I'm eyeing has a front wheel that pivots, but can be locked into place for hard core jogging (yeah, right! Like I jog!). I'm just worried the fool thing will be like a nightmare grocery cart with crazy wheels...

I have a Dreamer Design Ditto (I think that it what it is called) and I love it. I did run with it a lot before getting pregnant and it is awesome. It is very well balanced and easy to manuever. mine is not the newer model so I just have the single canopy. The newer model has an wonderful canopy system - it's actually 2 individual canopies that you can work independently. They also offer more sun protection than the standard single canopy. There are a few really good websites that offer reviews of several different joggers - can't think of the names of them now but if you do a search for joggers you'll find them.

The seats also recline independently and have 5pt harnesses. My girls are almost 5 and 3yrs and tall and both fit well in the seats. It has a "basket" underneath and a pocket on each side of the back of the seats - great for water bottles, etc.

Mine is alloy and very light for a double jogger. It folds and fits into the back of my car w/no problem. I highly recommend it especially if you want to run with it. I bought mine online w/o seeing it in person and I'm very happy with it. you might be able to find a dealer in your area. I remember that Steph was very happy with her Kool Stride joggers, too, so you might want to look into them.
