We have been using verizon wireless for several years and have the nation wide coverage. I have heard they don't cover the midwest, which isn't a problem but I like the idea of rollover minutes and they offer more week minutes for a cheaper price, than verizon does. Can any of you tell me your experience with cingular. I am seriously considering making the switch and want to know if it would be a good move.

I've had Cingular for about 2 years and have the nationwide plan that has no long distance and no roaming charges. I've used my phone coast to coast and I've been very pleased with the coverage. Customer svc is always pleasant and helpful. I don't like signing a contract (and I would NEVER sign one for more than a year), but I have a great rate and haven't found anyone to beat it yet. HTH

I switched from Verizon to Cingular and the one dissapointment is that the phone goes in and out A LOT more than Verizon. Lots of 'bad areas' that I can't talk in and get disconnected where Verizon worked fine. Otherwise, the rollover minutes, etc are great! :)

I've had Cingular for over two years now. I used to have a coverage problem, but then I got a better phone and I rarely drop a call anymore.

I've never had a problem with them about anything and would recommend them.

I'm getting ready to drop Verizon and have heard good things about Cingular. It has been kind of a toss up for us between Cingular and T-Mobile, and I think we're going for Cingular because of the rollover minutes.
