I'm 21 weeks, and I walk 30-60 minutes pretty much every day. It usually makes me feel great, but today my chest was hurting. I'm tense and I've been burping all day (unusual), so I'm pretty sure it's just gas, but it got me to thinking about exercise.

What do you do (if anything?)

I do step aerobics/sculpting/weight training 5 days a week. I'm just 14 weeks though, so talk to me when I'm in my third trimester. My tune changes significantly!

I did water aerobics. They were great and the water felt so good when I got huge.

I wouldnt recommend starting this at your stage of pregnancy, but I thought Id answer the question anyway.

I have had great success with TTAPP videos. Teresa Tapp developed them, they are low impact, and are great for any age or fitness level. The moves themselves are not challenging... a combination of tai chi, ballet, pilates, and yoga... but the goal is to keep isometric contraction in your major muscle groups the entire time you're doing the repetitions of moves, and that is where it really gets hard. Ive been doing it since March 2001. I stopped doing the videos at 32 weeks, and now just do the 6 core moves every other day, besides walking, to stay healthy. Its made a huge difference in my pregnancy shape, my muscles, and my energy level. When youre post partum Id encourage you to look into it!!

Sorry - a bit late to reply on this.
I am 32 weeks pregnant and each week I do some or all of the following:-
A yoga class
Swim for 30 mins
Bike around the neighbourhood for some fresh air
Use a non-impact walking machine in the gym
Walk

I would say that I do nothing for 2 out of 7 days in the week. I honestly believe exercise has made my pregnancy easier. My energy levels have stayed high. I haven't put on excess weight. I have no swelling. It also makes me feel good.
