My kids don't have school tomorrow so the parties were today. I was the game lady for dd 4th grade class. We had a blast with these two games I thought up for the occasion.

Game #1: Mummy three legged race_one roll of toilet paper for each team is needed

Divide the kids into team of 3-4. Have each team choose who will be the mummies(2 kids) and who will wrap(2 kids). Choose a spot at the other end of the room and mark off a finish line.

To start the game say "go" and have the wrappers begin wrapping their three-legged mummies. It helps to let them know they should start with wrapping the middle legs together. After the wrappers are done mummifying the other two kids have them race to the finish line, after the wrappers are across then the three-legged mummy can begin the treck to the finish line.

Game #2: The Nest of Nastiness
You'll need:
4-6 large pkgs of spaghetti
1-2 cans of black pitted olives
1-2 jars baby gerkin pickles
3-4 pkgs of foil wrapped halloween candies, rubber fingers, eyeball gumballs, and other assorted treats/favors of your choice-
make sure the candies are wrapped or sealed individually.

At home boil up 4-6 large packages of spaghetti. Drain and cool completely, drain and rinse the pickles and olives and toss everything together in a large pot or cauldron, add a little oil to keep it from sticking and to maintain maximum yuck factor! Toss in the candy/favors and mix well.

At school, blindfold each child to take a 30 second turn in finding the lost treasures in the nest of nastiness. I used a towel to cover the big pot to keep the nest a surprise to the others kids and they were warned not to let on what the students were searching in for the prizes. Have na extra bowl or bucket handy to keep the treasures in as they search. The kids had a ball with this one.

Things I should have done: brought a big sheet to set the pot on, my one towel didn't cut it. Also you could set up a big cardboard box as a screen so that those waiting their turn can't see what is in the pot. Bing papers towels or wipes to let the kids wipe off their treats. Our kids were allowed to run to the bathroom and wash up. Enjoy!
