Has anyone ever used one of those? You know the monitor you place under the baby's mattress that signals an alarm when the baby doesn't move after a while. Are the monitors any good?
DD was on an apnea monitor due to her prematurity, and needless to say, I am a little spoiled by that. I am scared to death of something happening to the new baby, so we bought a motion monitor.

My best friend has one. I think it is called an angel monitor. She loved it with her first but with her second it went off all th etime because he cooted around from day one so he would move off the monitored area. I think you will like it

I just bought one on sale at Toys R Us so I'd be curious to know whether they work well. Also, can you use them in addition to a sound monitor or do they intefere with each other???

I have the Angel care and it works really well when you turn it on:rolleyes: It went off one day and scared the poop out of me and dd and I never turned it back on again. I think by then she was moving too much. If you have any concerns at all I would definately get it. It gave me enough peace of mind to get some sleep. It took us years to conceive dd through IVF and I was terrified of something happening to her.
lil'bird - it shouldn't interfere with your other monitor but it is also a sound monitor as well so you shouldn't need both.
Sorry, one last point, Make sure you get the one that is the angel receiver and the cloud station. I originally had the old model where the angel sat on top of the station and I it had terrible sound reception. I called the company to complain and they sent me the new model in the mail no charge. They didn't even want the old one back! They had excellent customer service.

I have the Bebe model and really like it. It lets me sleep peacefully (instead of getting up ten times a night to check if Sam is breathing).
