My midwife suggested to me a few minutes ago that I may want to come up there to the birthing center and have accupuncture done to hopefully get labor going. Anyone have this done? If so, did it work for you? How effective is it?
I think I may try it. 10 days overdue is a bit much. :(

I have not tried it, but my midwives recommended it. I didn't have a chance to get an appointment because on the day she recommended me to, my water broke.
Good luck-I would go for it at this point.

after my membranes had been ruptured for about 30 hours with no sign of labor in sight (midwife did a steril spec. exam and said that my cervix looked like a tight little rock) we were advised to try it. it worked so well that we delivered about 7 hours later before the midwife even made it to our house. this was all just a few days ago. sorry for the lack of caps, but i'm nursing and only have one hand available. good luck. it sure worked for us.
