What are you reading this week? What are you looking forward to reading soon?

You can just list the book or books you're working on, or you can add a few sentences about them, or you can write a short review for us, if you like!

Share your book experiences with us here. :)

I just started a book called Strangers by Dean Koontz. I haven't gotten too far in, I am still in the portion of the book where Mr. Koontz is setting everything up prior to the poop hitting the fan. I love scary books!

I read book five in the Song of Acadia series this weekend. Since it just came out I have to wait a year for the next one! I love the Oke/Bunn books; I think he adds a lot in the plot area to her already wonderful style.

I just started a book based on a class I took called Boundaries with Kids. I'll let you know how it is in a few days. :)

I just finished Agatha Christie's A Murder Is Announced, and I loved it.

I'm reading another mystery right now, Janet Evanovich's Four to Score. I started this one awhile ago, but only got a few chapters in before I got distracted by another book. I want to finish this one this week!

Her next book in the series, High Five, is probably up next. :)

I just finished About a Boy by Nick Hornby, which was very funny and sweet. Has anyone seen the film with Hugh Grant? If so, is it any good? I also recently read the second Artemis Fowl book, which wasn't bad.

I'm trying to get into a recent biography of Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser, but the beginning is kind of bogged down with an explanation of court intrigues of the 18th century. Necessary info, I'm sure, but it's not exactly capturing my attention. I have some rather fluffy books (Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Jennifer Crusie) calling my name and I'm having trouble resisting them, lol.

I am just about to finish up the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. Its Science Fiction if anyone is into that and I highly recommend it. The first book is A Storm of Swords, the second is the Clash of Kings and the latest is A Game of Thrones.

I just read Daughter of the Shaman for the second time by Elyse Guttenberg. It's about the growth of a woman who is an Alaskan 95 B.C. It is so beautifully written and allowed me to experience the beauty and rawness that is Alaska. The author has woven all of this into a wonderful story.

Unfortunately, this is one of two books the author has published, that I know of. The other one is out of print. I had ordered it from my library's book loan program but it came in during my busy season and I was unable to read it. And then I forgot the title!
