Here are our latest updates. More will follow sometime next week.
We are adding back one more smiley and we'll test it out to see if it does anything outstanding to our bandwidth. We ask that if you are not into smileys and didn't use them much before, don't change. :) If the bandwidth takes a jump, we'll go back to one. If it doesn't, we may try for three.
Some of you asked if we could turn off the function that shows how many views a note has received. Unfortunately, this is not an on/off feature. It would take some hacking into the templates of each forum, and not something we're able to paying for or excited about trying at this time.
We've looked into the problem some of you have described where your text disappears when you try to go back and edit your note after getting an error message. Our tech disabled a no-cache header and most of you should not have that problem any longer. If you do, she explained that it has to do with your browser settings. It can happen when your browser reloads the page instead of getting the cached version. She said that it can also have something to do with your ISP settings.
For now, the other features will stay off until while we continue testing, and/or can afford to turn them back on.
